Sometimes a single image can spark an idea. While riding his bike under the hot sun of Paraguaçu Paulista, Pedro saw a local restaurant called Chef Lally. Its simple logo and charming atmosphere inspired him. Even years before creating his blog, the name Comidinhas do Chef was already in his mind.

In 2014, Pedro accepted a lower–paying job as head pizzaiolo for a pizzeria owner who also managed 10 websites. This step brought him closer to someone who actually made money online and could teach him. On April 16, 2014 he launched the Comidinhas do Chef YouTube channel, and two days later the blog was created. His early content—recipes and cooking tips—spread quickly on Facebook.

The first video was silent, but over time Pedro evolved into a confident cook, presenter, and CEO.

By the end of 2015, after mentorship from the pizzeria owner, Pedro took full control of the project: server, content, structure, and ads. Even without earning money yet, he worked as a delivery rider and pizzaiolo while dedicating every spare moment to producing recipes for the blog and YouTube.

Faith fueled the project. Public engagement and viral recipes kept Comidinhas do Chef growing. In 2017, with help from programmer Richard, the site underwent its first major redesign. The blog established its main identity: simple, practical, everyday recipes for real people.

With a more professional layout and SEO strategy, the blog’s visibility grew. In 2018, the R7 network invited Comidinhas do Chef to become a partner, confirming its potential among Brazil’s top culinary sites.

Throughout the journey, Pedro kept his mission clear: make cooking accessible to everyone, regardless of resources. The blog succeeded by staying loyal to this spirit and by genuinely helping Brazilians with easy, proven recipes.

From a Simple Dream to One of Brazil's Largest Culinary Sites

Some stories begin with big investments. Others, with a simple dream. The Comidinhas do Chef story started with a bicycle, a restaurant called Chef Lally, and a young cook named Pedro Cavalcanti, who wanted to transform simple recipes into something accessible for anyone.

The Beginning of the Idea – Before 2014

During a workday, cycling under the sun in Paraguaçu Paulista, Pedro spotted the Chef Lally restaurant. With its elegant name and charming simplicity, the place conveyed exactly what he imagined for a future culinary business: welcoming, accessible, and with its own identity. The name Comidinhas do Chef emerged there, years before the website existed.

2014 – The Beginning of Comidinhas do Chef

Even with a lower salary, Pedro accepted to be head pizzaiolo for an entrepreneur who, besides owning the pizzeria, had 10 websites on the internet. This decision fulfilled two objectives: being a chef for the first time and learning from someone who really knew how to do business online. On April 16, 2014, the Comidinhas do Chef YouTube channel was created, and on April 18, the blog was launched.

2015 – Consolidation and Independence

After a year of mentorship, Pedro took full control of the blog: server, content, and ads. Since the project didn't generate income yet, he continued working as a delivery driver and pizzaiolo, dedicating his free time to creating and publishing recipes. Comments and public engagement were the main motivation to continue. By the end of 2015, Pedro decided to dedicate 100% to Comidinhas do Chef.

2017 – First Major Reform

With help from programmer and friend Richard, the site underwent a complete overhaul: new layout, reorganized content, and simple, tested recipes with real photos. This change gave Comidinhas one of its greatest differentiators: teaching in an accessible, practical, and detailed way.

2018 – Growth and Partnerships

With a focus on SEO and quality content, the blog began to gain national prominence. Portal R7 invited Comidinhas do Chef to be an official partner, expanding its reach and credibility. The essence remained the same: anyone, with few resources, should be able to reproduce the recipes.

2020 – Professionalization and Advanced Strategies

With the entry of Camillo Dantas, specialist in SEO and virtual intelligence, Comidinhas gained strategies to scale reach, improve monetization, and structure the platform for sustainable growth.

2021 – Comidinhas do Chef 3.0

Under mentor Miarelli's guidance, the site began the content platform phase. In the Comidinhas Hackathon, the project's "Justice League" was formed: Camilo (SEO), Caique (Analytical Structure), Felipe (Server and Internal Solutions), Gabriel (Programmer), and Miarelli (Coordination and Business). This marked Comidinhas' digital transformation.

2022 Onwards – Team, Innovation and Expansion

Comidinhas do Chef now has specialized writing staff, nutritionists, programmers and designers, legal and operational teams. Pedro became CEO and leads not only content production but also expansion to other languages and partnerships with major brands in the gastronomic and digital market. Today, Pedro Cavalcanti dedicates about 15 hours a day to Comidinhas do Chef, maintaining its essence: simple, tested, and accessible recipes for everyone.

2021 – Guidance, Hackathon and Transformation

In 2021, under guidance from mentor Miarelli and top web professionals, Comidinhas do Chef began transforming from a blog into a full content platform. This evolution took shape during the Comidinhas Hackathon, which brought together a team of specialists in SEO, analytics, servers, programming, and business.

2022–2024 – Building a Professional Team

Over the last two years, Pedro became not only a culinarist but also the CEO, building a professional team that includes writers, nutritionists, developers, designers, an operations director, and legal staff.
