My favorite simple cake from the bakery is the ant hill cake. I was able to learn the secret to making it at home with chocolate sprinkles that don't stick to the mold from the baker I befriended. Follow the steps with care and attention
In a mixer, place the eggs and sugar.
Beat at medium speed until a light-colored cream forms.
Next, add the butter and beat for 2 minutes.
Add the flour, milk, and beat for about 6 minutes or until smooth.
If you don't have a mixer, you can beat the cake batter by hand.
In a bowl, place the sprinkles and a tablespoon of flour to prevent them from sinking or sticking to the mold.
Add the sprinkles to the cake batter and mix gently until well combined.
Finally, add the baking powder and mix.
Place the cake batter in a greased and floured mold.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180° for about 45 minutes or until golden brown.
Your cake is ready, let it cool slightly, remove from mold, and serve.
