Everything you need
Welcome to my kitchen! I'm excited to share with you a special recipe that's been passed down through generations of my family - a simple and delicious homemade pastry dough for baked pastries, also known as "massa de pastel assado" in Portuguese. This recipe was taught to me by my grandmother, and I'm thrilled to finally share it with you.
This pastry dough is a classic, using only basic ingredients and no fancy techniques. It's the perfect recipe for anyone who wants to learn how to make a delicious and flaky pastry from scratch. The result is a soft and airy interior, with a lightly crispy exterior that's just irresistible. And the best part? This dough is incredibly versatile - I've used it to make not only baked pastries, but also crispy fried pastries and even a mouthwatering spiral cake called "rocambole" that's a favorite among my friends and family.
In this post, I'll be sharing the recipe for this amazing pastry dough, and I'll also include a video of the rocambole I mentioned earlier. So, if you're ready to learn how to make a truly delicious homemade pastry dough, stay tuned!

Roll out the dough and cut it into desired shapes.
Fill the dough with your preferred filling and fold the dough in half.
Use a fork to press the edges and seal the filling inside.
Place the pastries on a baking sheet greased with butter.
