A cold winter has arrived, and to warm up these chilly days, I'll teach you how to make a simple and quick bean stew with bacon and sausage. I always like to bring back those old recipes from my grandmother's time, as I know everyone enjoys them. And this recipe is one of the ones that reminds me of my childhood, as my mother always made it at home when the cold arrived. The bean stew with bacon is one of the simplest soup recipes, as there's no secret ingredient, and if you want to add a touch, you can add your favorite seasoning and other ingredients. Here, I'll teach you the traditional recipe for bean stew with bacon, and I'm sure you'll want to make it today and enjoy the flavor. Another tip is that this is a homemade recipe, and I don't use any industrial ingredients, it's all natural, so if you prefer to use industrial seasonings, feel free to do so. But in my opinion, the bean stew with bacon tastes better with natural seasonings.

Follow the steps with care and attention
Before cooking, soak the beans in water for 15 minutes and then discard the water;
Transfer the beans to a pressure cooker and add water and bay leaves;
Cover and bring to medium heat;
Let it cook for about 30 minutes, after reaching pressure;
Then turn off the heat and wait for the pressure to release on its own, before opening the pot;
TIP: To check if it's done, try to mash a bean, if it's easy to mash, it's cooked. If not, let it cook a bit longer.
Remove the bay leaves and transfer the beans to a blender, along with the broth;
Blend for about 2 minutes and reserve;
In another pot, sauté the bacon and sausage in a tablespoon of olive oil or oil;
Then add the garlic, salt, and onion;
Let it sauté for a bit and then add the black pepper and paprika;
Mix well and add the blended beans;
Stir occasionally until it starts to boil;
Finally, adjust the salt, add chopped parsley and chives, stir again, and turn off the heat;
Serve immediately.
